Duet Display App Reviews

Dual monitors are great for desktop productivity. Got the app and installed on my personal laptop for a trial. Worked great until I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10. I emailed the Duet support team and they got me working quick. Now to have IT install on my work machine. Since I travel for work Duet will help mitigate the screen fatigue and the clicking back and forth to different screens while working. Great app. Merry smooth and seamless.

Downloaded, plugged in my iPad Pro to my Mac and it projects just like a normal second screen. Its like having two MacBooks. Definitely recommend.

Not much to say, works like perfection. Dual screen to spread out your work efficiently.

It lags a bit, but it may be my wire. Besides that, its great for a side screen to have skype or iTunes open on when playing PC games.

I have a brand new iPad Pro and a brand new computer wont work at all

I love having the extra space for my Mac with using my iPad or iPhone as a second screen. Instead of having every program scushed on one screen and only get half of the experience

I run fusion 8 on my macbook pro and can’t extend my windows vm to the iPad like I would be able to with a regular monitor. That’s basically the only reason I bought it.. I have no need for a second screen for personal use so my macbook’s screen alone is fine. but i work with windows and was hoping this would solve my traveling and don’t have access to a second monitor problem. Hopefully the devs will add an update for this soon. 3 stars until then.

Previously carried a portable monitor with my 17" laptop. Added a lot of weight to my bag and the display resolution wasnt great. After getting my iPad Pro was excited to find this app as I hoped it would replace the clunky portable monitor. Discovered it works great! Love the resolution options and allows me to have dual monitors just like sitting at my desk in the office. Would like to be able to use split view so I can work with other apps on the iPad and keep my second display connected to my PC.

Windows 7 user here. So my experience is awful. Monitor shows but it messes with my setup bad. Artifacting, extreme lag on all displays, theme changes, nvidia control panel locking up. Had to uninstall, and Im sad.

This is one of the most useful apps Ive purchased. The app works flawlessly! I had a little trouble getting it set up. The support team hung with me diligently while we figured this out and got me going. Their response time/turnaround was impressive. Turned out the issue had nothing to do with Duet... I had to resinstall my iPhone and iPad drivers for laptop PC because my devices were not showing up in iTunes or Duet. Well worth the price of admission.

I bought a display extender app that connected over WiFi. It was totally unreliable anywhere there was much radio interference, such as coffee shops or conferences. The hard wired connection make Duet much more reliable. It still does not handle the display size and resolution difference between the two displays as gracefully as one might wish. Its an excellent value for when you want to use two windows at once.

This is the killer app for my iPad Pro. Together with a small stand it gives me a portable second monitor for my MacBook Pro.
